Youth Parliament
The Grade 10 students of KV BEML NAGAR participated in the Youth Parliament session held in the school auditorium. The event aimed to enhance students’ understanding of parliamentary procedures, develop public speaking skills, and promote awareness of current social and political issues.
The session began with the introduction of student representatives, acting as members of parliament, ministers, and the speaker. The agenda focused on topics such as environmental conservation, education policies, and youth mental health awareness.
Students passionately debated and proposed solutions, demonstrating critical thinking and teamwork. They presented their points confidently, showcasing their understanding of the issues at hand. The speaker maintained order and ensured each participant had a chance to present.
The event concluded with a voting session, allowing the students to practice democratic procedures. The best debaters and active participants were awarded certificates for their contribution and performance.
